The Filmmakers

Jerry Anderson

Producer/Writer/Director

A software engineer by trade and a filmmaker by desire Jerry brings a host of talents and energy to his projects. He has written numerous short and feature length screenplays. He composes and/or performs most of the music for his films. He believes it is vitally important to have a fun and collaborative environment on a film set (as well as lots of good food) and often has more volunteer crew than he knows what to do with.

Nightmare on Film Street is the second short film that Jerry has produced, written and directed working with his good friend Robert Whitsitt. He has worked as DP, editor and crew on several films for friends and is currently in preproduction on his first feature length film.

Robert Whitsitt

Assissant Director/Executive Producer

Robert Whitsitt has never figured out what he wants to do when he grows up. He taught high school math, worked as a systems analyst, ran a computer store, wrote calculator and software manuals by the hundreds, tested software, created some darn good Web pages, and was a senior QA engineer at Google. In 2001, on a whim, he filmed a music video for a friend. Hooked, since then he's been involved with Jerry Anderson in four movie projects. Recently retired, he and Jerry have a new project, a feature about the trials and tribulations of a retiree who has always wondered what he wants to do when he grows up.
