Summer Night Concert Schönbrunn

What a crowd scene! In the five years they’ve been giving these concerts the attendance has grown 10 fold. Public transportation can’t handle the number of people who want to come. We left about 3/4 of the way through the concert and hordes of people were still streaming in but not allowed into the main viewing area because it was full.

A really fun experience for us. Everyone behaved and had fun despite a lot of beer and wine being consumed. Smoking, talking, and people wandering around make it a little difficult to fully concentrate on the music but still completely thrilling to be there.

Check out the two short videos on YouTube for an idea of what it feels like. We stationed ourselves fairly far back and to the side so we wouldn’t be trapped in the middle at exit time. All the same the viewing and sound were excellent thanks to the HUGE video screens.
